Ron Zaagman, 17 at time of filming, survived cancer he experienced around age 10. People who experience cancer are regular people who play hockey, have messy bedrooms, have brothers and sisters. They can also have a strength and faith beyond their years. We hope for more stories of survivorship and thrivership, like Ron’s, and look forward to a day when no one experiences cancer.
