Montreal Bicycle Show - Salon du vélo à Montréal

Several folks led by Jamie Foster attended the Montreal Bicycle Show to raise awareness of the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride. Lynne Jenkins, a national rider from 2008 and Daniel Charpentier from a Sears store in Montreal gave of their personal time to ensure a successful event. Thousands of people attended. We distributed brochures about the Ride, sold bandanas, and sold SNKCR plush toy beavers.

Left to right are myself, Mark Weinburg, and Jamie Foster. I’m unsure if it was despite or because the handsome models wore the bandanas, the toy beavers were MUCH more popular with the kids, “Hey Mama or Papa, can I get a [sic] Teddy Bear?!”

I rode for about three hours. Seemed like the thing to do.
